About

I am an Indian woman in London. Used to be a lawyer, and sometimes still dabble in that world. At other times I write.

I live with a Significant Other (referred to as “A”). Reference is made to sisters R1 and R2 who used to live with us. This is the (self-indulgent) space where I record thoughts on my personal life and various obsessions and collect links to things I find interesting.

I like and am interested in:

Dogs and Cats.

Indian Classical Music. The posts on music are very basic and some of them (such as the T is for Tanpura series) are driven by questions people ask me. There is a lot of other information on the net for those who want to go deeper-do explore the links section.

Religion. I am Hindu and derive a lot of inspiration from other religious traditions. At the same time I can be critical of all of them.

Migration, Borders and Diasporic Communities.

Gardening. This keeps me sane.

Reading.

History.

Politics.

Travelling.

And many other things.
