In the jungle…

2010 August 19

Some boxes arrived from India today with my old books and some other stuff. My sister was unpacking them and found this-and photographed it on her phone.

A childhood school notebook of mine. Apparently “rattlesnaks” are very bad serpents.

I am amazed that the condition of the notebook (mine barely survived the academic year). and the illustration is very impressive!

There’s a little star in there that the teacher drew, that has faded :)
I’m amazed at the condition too-we lived near the sea and almost everything deteriorated quickly
