My joy making song to listen to on a walk. Except am always conducting an orchestra when i listen to it and people stare at me. I love the way the singer goes “Damayandhi” and not “Damayanti.”

This video does make me cringe. Music composed by AR Rahman. I love the song though. Karthik’s debut song.
I think Rahman reached his best with Thiruda Thiruda – the originality and range in that album in unmatched by any of his other work. (Strictly personal opinion, I’m not getting into any arguments about this with anyone!)
