Gaza Appeal

There has been a huge row in the UK over the BBC and Sky’s decision not to screen a joint appeal by various charities such as Oxfam, Save the Children etc for donations for Gaza. The BBC said it had to remain “impartial” and therefore could not screen the appeal. For the charities, this is a humanitarian appeal, and not about taking sides. Gaza is wrecked. Anyway, even if one agrees with the BBC’s argument, one can still donate to the charities. I don’t like the way most appeals are filmed, and I don’t like this one either, but Gaza needs help.
