Proximity Award
I have been flattered by yet another award from Memoirs to Cherish…this blogging business is REALLY good for one’s ego.

This award is given to a blog that invests and believes in PROXIMITY – nearness in space, time and relationships! These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind of bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.
I have to pass it to 8 people.
But before I do that, please could you nominate bloggers you think fit this description, in the comments section. Lesser known, newer blogs would be great!

Hay Ra, please suggest some such bloggers. Would be great if I could increase my reading list!
Best wishes,
Anjali
My reading list nowadays seems to be made up of a handful of blogs, mostly by friends. Bloggers I am yet to meet but seem nice and friendly – Blogeswari, Terri’s mom and Inbavalli. I think they are all lovely.
But then again for all I know these three ladies could be scary in person. Someone meet them and write a review please.
WA, we have a large “Beware of Dog” sign on our gate. A sheer waste given my (Terri’s) nature. The sign would make more sense if it read “Beware of Bitch”
A sheer waste given both your natures.
WA- I am one nalla tamizh ponnu – homely yet modern, modern yet traditional, traditional yet friendly , friendly yet.. *yawn*
Can I suggest some Tamil bloggers?

I nominate TGFI
And you, Ra, so totally deserve this award!!
Thank you!
I have a pair of horns and fangs as well. I bark at, and often bite, encylopedia salesmen, tele-marketers and drivers who stop their vehicles on the pedestrian crossing. Thanks for thinking I’m nice and friendly, WA
For the record, I know Terri’s mom (and Terri) through the blog, and when I met them, I couldn’t decide which of the two is more charming than the other.
WA, this is mainly to answer your question.
Congratulations Ra. Yes, blogging is truly chicken soup for the ego.
Came over from a chance link at my husband’s blog article on Music Academy. Glad I did. And whom do I find here? Terri, Inba…it IS a small world afterall.
I am attracted to Tamilians (the women, especially
)
As usual, the blundering idiot that I am, I signed in with the husband’s blog, instead of mine. [Sheepish grin]
Lakshmi, I’ve made bigger blunders. Ask WA
We seem to have converted MG’s comments section into a chat room
)
I don’t mind, all of you are hilarious!
Aiyaiyo, WA! Inda Blogeswari…I have known her since birth. Even share my parents with her. She is one big devil…unlike me, of course!
Congratulations, MG. Well deserved award!
Thank you! And I should have made the Blogeswari connection earlier…but I didn’t!
Adippavi naaye paeyeee sheniyane (not you WA, it is to the Ammani ) – nee endi enakku Akkavu vandu poranda?
Sorry for Galeejing your blog, WA
congratulations MG – you know you do fit the tag with your writing, don’t you? *clap, clap*
WOW I disappear for a week coughing and so much has been happening.
Blogeswari, I would love to think that I can write such beautiful posts but unfortunately I can’t . The blog belongs to MG and not me, but I am sure she doesn’t mind you galeejing her blog though.
Now back to my coughing. Poor me
Such fun!
